Next To Normal at Taipei Performing Arts Center

Following its successful 2023 premiere, Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey’s Pulitzer-winning musical Next To Normal returns to Taiwan, performed in English at the Taipei Performing Arts Center from December 19 to December 21, 2025. The original cast will reprise their roles, featuring Ya Han Chang as Diana, Ellis Gage as Gabe, Francis Chia as Doctor Madden and Doctor Fine, Chi as Natalie, ERay Chiang as Dan, and Sassoon Yang as Henry. Directed by Carolyn Sun with updated staging, this production includes music direction by Yu-Mei Chang and choreography by Hsing-Chun Hsu. The show delves into themes of mental health and family dynamics through a powerful rock score.
