Origins of Love is the first part of Khnemu Menu-Ra's semi-autobiographical trilogy exploring the many facets of love through a cabaret format. Combining Shakespearean text with familiar songs and original pieces, this performance delves into the intricacies of relationships, framed in a classic "boy meets girl" narrative. Menu-Ra collaborates with fellow ensemble members Dani Brady and Jean E. Mueller-Burr, with musical accompaniment from Ellis Douglas and Jill Waycie. Set in the intimate atmosphere of Mrs. Murphy & Son’s Irish Bistro, this work promises a reflective experience on the highs and lows of love.
