Inside/Out at Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre II

CHICAGO - Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre II (CRDT II) makes their debut as the second company of Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre with Inside/Out, Saturday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Dovetail Studios, 2853 West Montrose. 

Inside/Out is an interactive event series that showcases works in progress and invites audiences INSIDE the creative process. Each event includes performance of new work-in-the-making, conversation with the artists, audience participation activities, and the opportunity to shape the new work with direct feedback and input.

Works in progress will be performed and discussed by members of the brand new CRDT II and Jazz Orchestra. 

Saturday’s event will feature SOUL REMEDY by Monique Haley. This timely piece explores Black excellence and joy alongside Black pain and injustice. SOUL REMEDY aims to engage audiences in a conversation about how to hold these things together with respect and humanity. This special piece was created and shared by an equally special multicultural, multigenerational company.
