Beau and Aero, presented by Portland clown duo A Little Bit OFF as part of Physical Theater Festival Chicago, follows two incompetent aviators — pompous pilot Beau and his clueless co-pilot Aero — on their quest for flight after crash-landing. The acrobatic, slapstick comedy blends clown, mime, acrobatics and puppetry, as the duo attempts everything from propellers and parachutes to balloons of all sizes in their efforts to get back in the air. With wordless humor and a vintage aesthetic, the show draws on the traditions of old American Vaudeville and is suited for audiences of all ages and language backgrounds.
