Children’s Theatre of Charlotte Hosts Auditions for Lyle the Crocodile 2/8

Children's Theatre of Charlotte will hold open auditions for "Lyle the Crocodile" on Tuesday, February 8 and Wednesday, February 9 from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm. This toe-tapping, finger-snapping adaptation of the picture book classic brings the world's most loveable reptile to life on stage. Roles are available for male and female adult actors only. Actors of diverse ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
Auditions will take place at ImaginOn, 300 East Seventh Street. Candidates should also wear clothing that is easy to move in. Auditions may consist of a cold reading from the script.Rehearsals begin March 6th. Performances will be held on weekends from April 1-17, with weekday performances March 31- April 15. Actors are compensated at $455 per week."Lyle the Crocodile" will be directed by Alan Poindexter.Children's Theatre of Charlotte is supported, in part, with an Operating Grant from the Arts & Science Council, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Inc. and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
