ELMO MAKES MUSIC Plays Hershey Theatre This Weekend

Mark your calendar for a musical event like no other-monsters making music! Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and all their Sesame Street friends are taking to the stage to share their love of music in Sesame Street Live 'Elmo Makes Music' at Hershey Theatre from today, Jan. 10 through Sunday, Jan. 12. HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH to Run 1/17-18 at HMAC

The gritty rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, starring Chad-Alan Carr as a transgender singer and 'internationally ignored song stylist' from East Berlin, Germany, will appear live on Stage on Herr at HMAC on January 17, 2014 at 8:00 PM and January 18, 2014 at 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Featuring a book by John Cameron Mitchell and a score by Stephen Trask, Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a musical comedy about a fictional rock 'n' roll band, fronted by Hedwig (Carr), a transgender woman and 'internationally ignored song stylist' from East Berlin. The score includes memorable tunes 'Tear Me Down,' 'Wig in a Box,' 'Wicked Little Town' and 'Origin of Love.' The show features Lindsay Bretz-Morgan as Yitzhak and Kenny Geist, Michael Giblin, Tom Kristich, and Adam Rineer as the band, the Angry Inch.

The Popcorn Hat Players will continue their New Year's Eve tradition with the 21st Annual New Year's Eve Party for Children, where we count down to NOON instead of midnight! This year's show will be a Popcorn Hat mega-hit: SNOW WHITE AND THE TWO DWARFS. The event is so huge they will hold it at the Sunoco Performance Theatre at the Whitaker Center in downtown Harrisburg!
