First CapLive Pre-Show Party Set for 4/3
CapLive and the historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in downtown York will host the first CapLive Pre-Show Party from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on April 3. The Pre-Show Party will happen at the Strand-Capitol prior to the 8:00 p.m. Lone Bellow performance in the Capitol Theatre.
The CapLive Pre-Show Party will include live, acoustic music performed by Mark DeRose & The Dreadnought Brigade, food truck vendors parked outside the Strand-Capitol's front doors, a cash bar, corn hole, and ping pong. The Pre-Show Party is free to attend for anyone who has tickets to the Lone Bellow show. Don't have your tickets for the show yet? The Capitol Box Office will open at 6:00 p.m. during the Pre-Show Party, or you can purchase your show tickets in advance by visiting www.StrandCapitol.org or by calling the Strand-Capitol box office at 717-846-1111.
"The Pre-Show Party offers the perfect opportunity for ticket holders to come out before the show, enjoy some food, drinks, music, and the entire CapLive atmosphere before the CapLive show even begins," said Ken Wesler, president/CEO of the Strand-Capitol. "We hope to see the audience for this event build so that we can offer more Pre-Show experiences in the future."
Mark DeRose & The Dreadnought Brigade is a rootsy, soulful, rock 'n roll band from Lancaster, Pa. that features Mark DeRose (on vocals, guitar, and mandolin); Jason Mundok (on guitar and vocals); and Aaron Gagne (on drums and vocals). The band is known for bringing high-energy performances of DeRose's upbeat, feel good music to stages across the tri-state region. For the Pre-Show Party, the band will be providing an acoustical performance.
CapLive and the historic Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center in downtown York will welcome The Lone Bellow, with Special Guest Aoife O'Donovan, to the Capitol Theatre on Thursday, April 3, at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $24.00.
