Fulton Theatre Announces Expansion

The Fulton Theatre has announced plans for the organization's upcoming expansion, reported on the projected economic impact of the project after completion, and has given a detailed funding report for the campaign also known as the Fulton Theatre's Breakout Performance. The first stage of construction, including updated stage rigging and upgrades to both stage lighting and sound, was recently completed in advance of the Fulton's premiere of Treasure Island. Phase one continues this fall with a focus on the West King Street portion of the city block. King Street construction includes:

The Gilmore-Hoerner Endowment will present a special, one night only concert by world renowned brass quintet, Canadian Brass on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre in Chambersburg, PA. Tickets for the event are $13 each, all seats reserved, and are currently available at the Capitol Theatre at 717-263-0202 or online at www.thecapitoltheatre.org . The Box Office is open from 11:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Monday thru Friday and one hour prior to show. The theatre is located at 159 S. Main Street in Chambersburg, PA. The group will also present a brass instrument Master Class at 1:00 p.m. in the Capitol Theatre Wood Center. It is free of charge and open to music enthusiasts of all ages. The musical Cabaret is a show that has truly stood the test of time. Based on the short novel Goodbye to Berlin and the play I Am A Camera, Cabaret has captured the attention of audiences through its show-stopping musical numbers, complex characters, complicated relationships, and intense emotions. Cabaret will be returning to Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center (HMAC) on October 5th, and Broadway World had a chance to talk with Lindsay Bretz, who will be portraying Sally Bowles, and Michael Zorger, who will be taking the stage as the Emcee.

The cabaret is presented annually around the director's birthday as a benefit for GCT's Taylor Zimmerman Memorial Scholarship Fund. During the cabaret, Carr will announce the 2019 Season.
