Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Fairmount Park Conservancy have partnered to bring "The Present"- a new, interactive holiday attraction - to the recently renovated LOVE Park. An added feature to the annual Christmas Village in Philadelphia, The Present is a glowing, 27-foot-tall, walk-through holiday gift box, featuring a 4-foot decorative bow and five miles of red and white LED lights, consisting of 100,000 bulbs! The Present creates a space for LOVE Park visitors to donate to various causes that will benefit the people and parks of Philadelphia. The Present will be lit at a lighting ceremony with Mayor Jim Kenney at 4:30pm on Monday, November 26.

"In addition to all the wonderful holiday attractions that Philadelphia has to offer, this year Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Fairmount Park Conservancy have added a stunning light installation in the middle of LOVE Park," said Mayor Jim Kenney. "The Present is a beautiful new feature that encourages Philadelphians to participate in the season of giving. I hope everyone will stop by to check out this new feature and consider donating to one of the worthy causes it promotes."

The Present is free to enter and will be open to the public daily, 11am-10pm, starting Giving Tuesday, November 27 to Monday, December 24 (Christmas Eve). For more information, follow #loveparkpresent on social media.

While visiting, guests can make a $5.00 gift to one of three causes via text and Bank of America will match it*!

Our thanks to the City of Philadelphia for including us. Philadelphia cares about its most vulnerable citizens!"

*Bank of America Charitable Foundation will match individual contributions up to $5,000.00 per organization through this campaign.
