Totem Pole Playhouse, America's beloved summer theatre located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, has announced the opening of the Totem Pole Playhouse Academy. The new performing arts training center will be housed in the Playhouse's recently renovated rehearsal space named after Totem Pole's former Artistic Producer and Directors, Carl Schurr and Wil Love.

The Lebanon Community Theatre (LCT) Board of Directors is pleased to announce its spooky fall musical production of Little Shop of Horrors. LCT's take on the rock musical opens on Halloween night, October 31, 2018 at the barn at Stoever's Dam Park in Lebanon. He is a long-time member of the Story Team at Sight & Sound Theatres where he has helped to produce and direct many shows in both their Lancaster and Branson, Missouri locations. He has spent much of his time outside of Sight & Sound engaging with local organizations and has performed in or directed for numerous churches, museums, schools, and theatres, including The Allenberry Playhouse, Lancaster Bible College, PRiMA Theatre, Rock Ford Plantation, Row I Productions, Servant Stage Company, Theater of the Seventh Sister, The Ware Center and even the Mayor's Tree Lighting.

The York Symphony Orchestra will present Musical Heroes on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts in York. This Classical Series Concert features a global celebration of the life and career of Leonard Bernstein, an American composer, conductor, author, music lecturer and pianist. Bernstein, who conducted some the great orchestras of the world for more than four decades, was one of the first conductors born and raised in the U.S. to achieve worldwide recognition. One of his most widely-known compositions included the score for the musical "West Side Story."
