A Toronto-based ensemble led by bassist Robert Lee, this project weaves original compositions inspired by Korean folk stories and poetry into a rich, narrative-driven set. The music blends jazz improvisation with traditional Korean elements, exploring identity, texture, and storytelling through a wide-ranging, expressive sound. The ensemble features Jacqueline Teh on vocals, Dennis Kwok on saxophones, John Lee on daegeum and janggu, Jay Yoo on guitar, Jen Lo on piano, and Jon Catanus on drums.
