2014 and 2023 MAC Award Winning Artist, singer and actress, Mary Lahti returns to the cabaret stage at the legendary Don’t Tell Mama for 3 shows only, October 22, October 28, and November 7. All shows at 7:00 PM.

You’re Not From Here, Are You? is a comically tragic (or is it tragically comical?) telling of an unexpected turn of events that occurred after transitioning from a hometown where everybody knows your name to a new city where the welcome wagon gets a flat tire and your red carpet gets pulled out from under you.

Featuring a range of songs from Cole Porter to Richard Maltby Jr. and music from Leonard Bernstein to Claude Debussy, Mary highlights the surprise strength that the rhythm of New Yorkers provided to help this obvious stranger become a New Yorker.

You’re Not From Here, Are You? is directed by multi award winning director, Lennie Watts, musical direction by her award-winning husband, Jim Lahti and with David Silliman on drums.
