Bistro and MAC Hanson Award winning vocalist, Lucille Carr-Kaffashan, is thrilled to be returning to Don’t Tell Mama this October with two more performances of her brand-new show, “Breathe, Songs of Holding on and Letting Go”. This show, highly praised by both audiences and cabaret reviewers, is a musical exploration of how we navigate a fundamental human experience — the process of holding on and letting go in all its various forms. We hold on to and let go of relationships, to hopes and beliefs, to a sense of identity, and along the way we encounter turning points that create the opportunity for change and growth. The diverse musical program includes selections from the Great American Songbook, from contemporary singer-songwriters, from musical theater, and from both classic and current country music stars.
