The High Society New Orleans Jazz Band is a New Orleans-style ensemble led by co-leaders Simon Wettenhall on trumpet and Grammy-winning pianist Conal Fowkes, with Tom Abbott on clarinet, Harvey Tibbs on trombone, Josh Dunn on banjo, Brian Nalepka on bass, and Kevin Dorn on drums. For decades, the group served as Woody Allen's band of choice for his films and concert tours, appearing in Wild Man Blues, Sweet and Lowdown, Midnight in Paris, Blue Jasmine, Cafe Society, Magic in the Moonlight, and A Rainy Day in New York. The band performs regularly at Birdland Theater and has appeared on concert stages throughout Europe and the United States.
