Acclaimed vocalist Robin McKelle presents a tribute to her greatest influence, Ella Fitzgerald, drawn from her recording Impressions of Ella. The album was recorded with Kenny Washington on drums, Peter Washington on bass, and the legendary Kenny Barron on piano. McKelle performs this new material and more with Luther Allison on piano, Estratos on drums, and Blake Meister on bass.
