According to reports, Tim Meadows, Jaboukie Young-White, Jamilah Rosemond and Jayson Lee are rounding out the cast for the upcoming musical film from Pharrell Williams and Michel Gondry. They join the previously announced Janelle Monáe, Missy Elliott, Brian Tyree Henry, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Halle Bailey, and recent Oscar-winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

Hollywood Records has released the KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Scored by acclaimed composer John Paesano, the album captures the sound and fury of the all-new action-adventure spectacle of the summer, open now exclusively in theaters worldwide. Apple TV+ has shared a sneak peek clip from the season finale of “Sugar.” The eight-episode series stars Academy Award nominee Colin Farrell, Kirby, Amy Ryan, James Cromwell, Anna Gunn, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Sydney Chandler, and Alex Hernandez. The highly anticipated sequel to Red, White & Royal Blue is in development, with Tony-Winner Matthew López returning to write the script, this time alongside Red, White & Royal Blue author, Casey McQuiston. Matthew López made his directorial debut with the first Red, White & Royal Blue film which became the #1 Movie Worldwide on Prime Video last August.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show will come to life at Kings Theatre on Halloween this year as part of its 49th Anniversary Spectacular Tour. Actor Barry Bostwick will reprise his iconic role as ‘Brad Majors’ in this live interactive musical comedy experience. This stop on the tour is one of over 40 stops in cities across the country where the cult classic will be brought back to life as The Shadow Cast hilariously acts out the movie on stage while the movie plays on screen.

Apple TV+ has shared a sneak peek clip from episode six of season two of “The Big Door Prize.” The series launched with the first three episodes on Wednesday, April 24, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through June 12. Universal has just released a new trailer for the upcoming horror movie A Quiet Place: Day One starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn. According to Deadline, Chloe East, Jacqueline Novak & Jennifer Grant are all set to join Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell in Sony's upcoming imaginative A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. They also join the previously announced Billy Magnussen, Sarah Gadon, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Jodie Turner-Smith. Their roles in the film have not been confirmed and specific plot details are also being kept under wraps.

AMC Networks has released the captivating official trailer for the highly-anticipated drama Orphan Black: Echoes. Set within the original universe of the Emmy® Award-winning series Orphan Black and starring Krysten Ritter, who also serves as executive producer, the sci-fi thriller will premiere on Sunday, June 23 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC and BBC AMERICA; available to stream on AMC+. Filming has begun on Scotland based production MISSION, reuniting BAFTA winning collaborators Paul Wright (For Those In Peril) and George MacKay (Femme). Peacock’s record-breaking most-watched original series Ted has been renewed for a second season. In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it's 1993, and Ted the bear’s (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham).

The HBO Original documentary Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes, will debut Saturday, August 3rd on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. The film will have its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes offers an unprecedented exploration into the life of Elizabeth Taylor, Hollywood’s quintessential star.

The first film has a tentative title of The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum and will be directed by the Gollum actor, who will also reprise his iconic role from the earlier installments. The film is planned for a 2026 release, with the team already in the early stages of development on the screenplay. Peter Jackson will also return to the franchise as producer alongside Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens.

SiriusXM has announced the launch of “Where Everybody Knows Your Name with Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson (Sometimes),” a new original podcast hosted by the Emmy Award-winning actors and friends. Premiering June 12, the podcast will see Ted and Woody reconnect 30 years after the end of their acclaimed sitcom “Cheers,” joined by a plethora of exciting guests.
