Disney Branded Television has released the main title theme song and announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated animated musical series “Disney Jr.’s Ariel.” Inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” the series will debut on THURSDAY, JUNE 27, on Disney Junior (9:00 a.m. EDT/PDT) and air on Disney Channel later that day, with an initial batch of eight episodes available on Disney+ the following day, FRIDAY, JUNE 28. Heading into the season one finale, Food Network has ordered a second season of 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing. The freshman culinary competition series, hosted by Esther Choi and Michael Symon, features 24 talented and fearless chefs who take on 24 food challenges in 24 consecutive, non-stop hours. At the end of the 24 hours, the chef who cooked the best for the longest, and outlasted the competition, is the only one left standing.

According to reports, Michelle Yeoh, who will play Madame Morrible in the upcoming musical film Wicked, has found her latest project. Yeoh will be playing the lead in the upcoming Blade Runner limited series from Prime Video, which recently began production. Later this year, Yeoh will be seen in Wicked alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

Paramount+ has announced that LET THE CANARY SING, the feature-length documentary exploring the remarkable life and career of Cyndi Lauper, will premiere exclusively on the service in the U.S. and Canada on Tuesday, June 4. Lauper is a prolific musician, with a career spanning over 40 years. In addition to her many studio albums, Lauper won a Tony Award for her score for Kinky Boots! and was nominated for her work on Spongebob Squarepants. Watch the trailer!

Netflix has announced the start of production on Wednesday Season 2 in Ireland with several new cast members joining the series. Fan-favorite Thing delivered new scripts to cast members on set, including several that are newly announced.

Hannah Waddingham stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday evening to discuss her role in the film The Fall Guy and other projects. According to reports, Faye Dunaway and Harvey Keitel will be starring together in a new supernatural romance film from director Jonathan Baker. The plot of the movie, titled Fate, is being kept under wraps but is reported to be set at a 'Vista hotel', taking its inspiration from the historic Vista Theatre in Los Angeles, now owned by Quentin Tarantino.

Netflix has released a trailer for the 25th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor honoring Kevin Hart, which will premiere on Netflix on May 11th during Netflix is a Joke Fest. The ceremony, which was filmed at the Kennedy Center on March 24th, featured a star-studded list of talent including Dave Burd AKA “Lil Dicky,” Dave Chappelle, Jimmy Fallon, Tiffany Haddish, Regina Hall, Chelsea Handler, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, J.B. Netflix has dropped the first look and date announcement for the second season of Unstable, the comedy series starring Rob Lowe and his son John Owen Lowe. Season 2 will drop on the steamer on August 1 with a total of 8 episodes. In this season, Ellis lays out a series of challenges and mind games for Jackson to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?

According to reports, Jeremy Irons and Helena Bonham Carter will be appearing together in a new film from Neil Jordan, director of 1994's Interview with a Vampire. The film is based on a book by Jordan, The Well of Saint Nobody. In addition to Irons and Carter, actor Aidan Quinn is also set to star in the film. It will begin shooting later this year.
