Shawn Andrews Joins THE WALKING DEAD: DEAD CITY as Reverend Anthony
The actor, known for DAZED AND CONFUSED and FIX, also released the single Ride Like Thunder from his debut album.
DEAD CITY has introduced a new group known as the 'Dead Squad' in season 3, episode 5, with Shawn Andrews joining the cast as Reverend Anthony. Andrews is known for his role as Pickford in 'Dazed and Confused,' Frank in 'Big Heart City' alongside Oscar nominee Seymour Cassel, and Leo in 'Fix' opposite Olivia Wilde.
'Dazed and Confused' became a global cult classic that launched the careers of a number of now-prominent actors, including Andrews' co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, Jason London, Parker Posey, Joey Lauren Adams, Adam Goldberg, Cole Hauser, and Anthony Rapp.
Andrews has also worked as a singer/songwriter. He released 'Ride Like Thunder,' an early single from his upcoming debut album described as an intense retro yet modern throwback rock single. The track was mastered by Howie Weinberg, whose credits include 20 Grammy wins, 76 Grammy nominations, work on more than 200 Gold and Platinum albums, and 25 billion streams, and was produced by Mathew Rucker.
'Ride Like Thunder' is available on Spotify and has drawn nearly a quarter million streams. The music video for the single was produced and created by Chaztized Media.
