Photos: Tovah Feldshuh, Dustin Hoffman, & More Attend TUNER New York Screening

On Wednesday, May 20, a special New York screening was held for Tuner, the new drama film starring Dustin Hoffman, Leo Woodall, Havana Rose Liu (All Nighter), and Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh. Take a look at photos from the event below, held at AMC Lincoln Square.

In attendance were cast members Hoffman, Woodall, Feldshuh, and Liu, as well as Producers JoAnne Sellar and Lila Yacoub, and co-writer/EP, Robert Ramsey. Hoffman also posed for a photo with old friend, Carl Bernstein, the American investigative journalist and former Washington Post reporter whom Hoffman portrayed in All the President's Men.

Black Bear’s founder and CEO, Teddy Schwarzman, kicked off the screening alongside the cast and producers, reading an introduction from writer/director Daniel Roher, who is currently on-set in Italy for his latest project. The screening was followed by a reception at the New York piano bar, So & So's. 

Tuner is directed by Academy Award winner Daniel Roher, marking the filmmaker's narrative feature film debut. Leo Woodall stars as a gifted young piano tuner whose heightened sense of hearing draws the attention of criminals, who see his talents as useful for opening safes as well as for tuning Steinways.

With his once-promising musical career over, he works across New York with his mentor Harry Horowitz (Hoffman), encountering a range of characters, including composition student Ruthie (Liu), with whom he forges an unexpected connection. However, Niki’s safecracking work threatens his budding romance with Ruthie and pulls him into increasingly dangerous territory. The movie, also starring Lior Raz and Jean Reno, is in select theaters on May 22, before expanding nationwide on May 29.
