Yesterday, NBC announced that they would no longer air the MISS USA pageant due to recent derogatory comments on immigration made by Donald Trump, a force behind the annual event.
MISS USA is set to take place on July 12th and in the past, was broadcast in Spanish on Univision and in English on NBC. Today, pageant organizers released a statement to the press, confirming that the show will go on as planned.
