FASHION STAR Hits Viewership High on NBC

At 8 p.m. ET, "Fashion Star" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) delivered a three-week high in 18-49 (its top rating since its debut 0.8 on March 8) and its best result to date in total viewers, pending updates. Week to week, "Fashion Star" is up 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.8 from a 0.7) and 6 percent in total viewers (3.025 million vs. 2.862 million), pending updates. From its first half-hour to its second, "Fashion Star" increased in rating by 11 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.8 from a 0.9) and 7 percent in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.9 million).

* At 9 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall) Built on its lead-in by 63 percent in 18-49 rating and 58 percent in total viewers. From its first half-hour to its second, "Grimm" grew by 8 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.3) and 3 percent in total viewers (4.9 million vs. 4.7 million).

* Note that "Grimm" is one of the most time-shifted shows on broadcast television, with last week's telecast growing by 62 percent from its "live plus same day" 18-49 rating (1.41) to its "live plus three day" result (2.28).

* From 10-11 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with BrIan Williams" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall) matched it three-week high in 18-49 rating (equaling its best since March 8) and reported a four-week high in total viewers (best since March 1). Week to week, "Rock Center" is even in 18-49 rating and up 11 percent in total viewers (4.161 million vs. 3.735 million), pending updates.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.7/5 with an Encore delayed by basketball; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/5.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3 with an Encore delayed by basketball; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/7 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an Encore delayed by basketball). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an Encore delayed by basketball).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
