"As I celebrate my tenth year hosting and producing The Rumble, I recognize the significance of this 40-year mark," shares Anngelle Wood. "The landscape has changed, media outlets have shuttered, venues have been razed, radio stations have gone dark, shows have been cancelled. It is not lost on me, nor should it be on anyone, that no event still exists with this rich history and legacy in the city, or in the country, that has been so instrumental in supporting community and goodwill in the independent rock scene. Boston has a glorious community of musicians; I am grateful that I get to celebrate them during the Rock & Roll Rumble 40th Anniversary and into the future. Seeing the happiness generated each night, that makes the work worth it."

"The Rock & Roll Rumble is a remarkable experience," shares JJ Gonson, ONCE proprietor. "There is no other time you get to see 24 of the best Boston rock bands, back to back, in this way. It's a smorgasbord of rock! It is awesome to be the venue chosen to host this important series of live shows and we can't wait for the return of the legendary Rumble to ONCE."

This year's Rock & Roll Rumble is sponsored by Jack's Abby Craft Lagers. "We're really excited to be a part of this year's Rock & Roll Rumble," shares Jack's Abby's Andy Grant. "As an independent brewery out of Framingham, Jack's Abby is always looking for ways to support other independent, local partners, such as ONCE, Boston Emissions, The Rock & Roll Rumble, and Anngelle Wood."

The Rumble recruits 45 judges-5 different judges per night over 9 nights and include professionals from the music and media communities, past Rumble participants, performers, writers, bookers, engineers, promoters, producers, and more.
