Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out Announce The Addition Of Nathan Aldridge

The International Bluegrass Music Association's 5-Time Male Vocalist of the Year, Russell Moore, is proud to announce the addition of fiddle player Nathan Aldridge to his award-winning band, IIIrd Tyme Out, beginning in March. Nathan will replace Justen Haynes who left the band earlier this year to spend more time with his young family.
Gustavo Dudamel Conducts Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra In Three Concerts

The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, returns to Carnegie Hall for concerts on three consecutive days in February in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. On the first program, on Friday, February 23 at 8:00 p.m. the orchestra offers an all-Brahms program including Academic Festival Overture, Variations on a Theme by Haydn, and Symphony No. 1. This concert is being broadcast live on Classical 105.9 FM WQXR, and streamed on wqxr.org and carnegiehall.org/wqxr as part of the Carnegie Hall Live series. It will be heard later on radio stations across the country.

In the upcoming Swire Classic Insights, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) will present fabulous music, on-stage commentary, and live animation in three concerts to be held on 2 March (Fri), 3 March (Sat) and 16 March (Fri) at 8pm in the Grand Hall, Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre, Centennial Campus, The University of Hong Kong. Registration is required. Ticket registration begins on 13 February 2018.

Soprano Heidi Melton is the 2009 George London-Kirsten Flagstad Award winner who in February sings the role of Sieglinde in the New York Philharmonic's concert performance of Act I of Wagner's Die Walküre led by Jaap van Zweden, and tenor Kyle van Schoonhoven is the winner of the Nicolai Gedda Memorial Award at the 2017 George London competition as well as a 2017 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions winner. These two young rising stars join pianist Craig Rutenberg to perform a joint recital, the final event of the George London Foundation's 2017-18 season, on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at 4:00 pm, at the Morgan Library and Museum's Gilder Lehrman Hall.
