Elizabeth H. Brett Recounts Her Life as a Teacher

About the Author
Elizabeth H. Brett graduated from Athens High School in 1947, Athens College in 1950, and George Peabody College in 1954. She taught at several high schools and ended her career by teaching the last eight years at John C. Calhoun Community College. She had always wanted to become a teacher. From the time she was a little girl, she always wanted to play school where she herself was the teacher. She remembers using family pets as students when no one wanted to participate as students.
