Education Experts Present Revolutionary Approach to Classroom Success Two experienced education consultants have released their holistic approach to teaching and learning. It focuses on fostering strong relationships between students and teachers with an emphasis on social and emotional components and integrating them into classroom practices in a functional way.

In "Student Voices: We Believe in You", authors Martha Casazza and Sharon Silverman intertwine the personal stories of students who overcame challenges to succeed with a research- and theory-based model for fostering student success. The book's ultimate aim is to equip teachers with the tools necessary to engage with and grow their students' non-cognitive skills.

"Too many students are not graduating from college or not meeting their educational goals, and too often, the blame for this falls entirely on these young people who are juggling multiple demands in order to pursue higher education," Casazza said. "As educators, we don't stop to ask the students what would make a difference - our hope is that this book will answer to that."

"Thanks to the authors for offering an accessible tool to use when dealing with students of any age and background," an Amazon customer wrote in a five-star review of the book. "Not preachy, just encouraging. This book is a pleasure to read, and it prompted my New Year's resolution for 2018: listen."

A concise, easy-to-read roadmap to holistic teaching and learning, "Student Voices" offers a motivating approach to revitalizing the classroom, supporting student needs and success and validating the power self-efficacy, persistence and emotional awareness hold in academic motivation.
