American Repertory Theater of WNY will present the Buffalo debut of Michael John LaChiusa's acclaimed musical classic piece, FIRST LADY SUITE. Described by The Guide to Musical Theatre, FIRST LADY SUITE is a 'four chamber pieces, ranging from riotously funny to hauntingly lyrical focusing on celebrated First Ladies and the people surrounding them.' Opening on March 1st to March 16th, this limited engagement of the musical will be presented at ART/WNY's home base at Bittner Hall, 16 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo NY.

Theatre Alliance of Buffalo Announces APPLAUSE FOR HOPE Fundraiser

The Theatre Alliance of Buffalo (TAB) announced a collaborative fundraising event called APPLAUSE FOR HOPE in support of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI). On Saturdays in February 2013, fourteen participating TAB theaters will be donating 30%* of their ticket sales to fund RPCI's extraordinary work on a cancer vaccine and its promise to save lives. Road Less Traveled Productions Announces Upcoming Season

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) today publicly announced its 2013-2014 Season, which will mark the local theatre company's tenth anniversary of operations. Founded in 2003 by Executive & Artistic Director Scott Behrend and Literary Director Jon Elston (and debuting its first production in January of that year), RLTP has spent the past decade pursuing a mission of developing and producing world-premiere plays by Western New York (WNY) playwrights, engaging a new and youthful WNY audience, and consistently presenting an accurate reflection of WNY's broad multi-cultural composition.

Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP), dedicated to the development and production of new plays by Western New York (WNY) playwrights, will bring yet another world premiere to fruition in March, when it debuts SEEDS, a new play by RLTP Ensemble Member Donna Hoke. The comedy/drama will open in Downtown Buffalo's Theatre District on Friday, March 1st, 2013 and will star Kelly Jakiel, Diane Curley, Todd Benzin, Diane DiBernardo, and Pamela Rosa Mangus. RLTP Ensemble Member Kristin Tripp Kelley will direct.

Opening Thursday, January 17th, 2013 and running until Sunday, February 3rd, 2013, Alemaedae Theater & Xavier Films present in cooperation with Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP), the hilarious comedy stage play The Wonderful World of Peter Williams. The play, a highly anticipated prequel to the hit comedy stage play So Fierce: Peter Williams, was written and produced by Alemaedae Theater's CEO / Founder Phil Davis Sr. and stars RLTP Ensemble member Barry Williams as Peter Williams. The play will be presented at the Road Less Traveled Theater, in Downtown Buffalo's Theatre District.
