Geva Theatre Center presents a world premiere - the Geva Theatre Conservatory production of All Your Questions Answered by Greg Kotis, the Tony Award-winning writer of Urinetown. Directed by Sean Daniels, All Your Questions Answered will run in the Fielding Nextstage from September 29 - October 13, 2013.

An evening of short, silly, subversive, satirical plays and charming, musical numbers where hijinks ensue. Two-time Tony Award-winner Greg Kotis answers all your questions. All of them.

Greg Kotis is the author of many plays and musicals including Urinetown (Book/Lyrics), for which he won an Obie Award and two Tony Awards, Michael von Siebenburg Melts Through the Floorboards, The Boring-est Poem in the World, Yeast Nation(Book/Lyrics), The Truth about Santa, Pig Farm, Eat the Taste and Jobey and Katherine. His work has been produced and developed in theatres across the country and around the world. This fall, Kotis will be collaborating with his Urinetown co-creator Mark Hollman and the director of All Your Questions Answered, Sean Daniels, on a new musical about corporate greed, young love and zombies, commissioned by True Love Productions, which will be workshopped at the University of Texas in Austin.

All Your Questions Answered is a collection of short sketches written at various points throughout Kotis' career, drawing inspiration from his work with the Dad's Garage in Atlanta, Neo-Futurists of Chicago and the Humana Festival in Louisville. All Your Questions Answered features seven songs by Kotis, many of which were written for this particular production.

"Greg is a dear friend, said Director Sean Daniels, "so when I approached him about taking the best of what we had done at Dad's Garage in Atlanta, The Neo-Futurists in Chicago, and from the Humana Festival of New American Plays in Louisville and making them into one evening, he was incredibly excited....so excited that he wrote seven songs, and so many new scenes that there's a whole other play on the cutting room floor. This is really the best of Greg Kotis' writing from his whole career.

The cast for All Your Questions Answered is comprised of students from area universities: John Amir is a recent graduate of the University of Rochester; Teresa Campbell, John Cummings and Sarah Melnyk are students at SUNY Brockport; Nicole Cupo,Katie Ganem and Brian Ziemann are recent graduates of Nazareth College; Kara Dudley and James St. Jean are recent graduates of SUNY Brockport, and Stella Kammel is a KEY Student at the University of Rochester,

All Your Questions Answered is directed by Sean Daniels, Geva's Director of Artistic Engagement/Artist at Large. The Artistic Team includes Amanda Doherty (Costume Design), Emily Stork (Lighting Design), and Becca Poccia (Dramaturg)

I'm thrilled that we're doing a world premiere of a new Greg Kotis play," Daniels added. I can't wait until it's done everywhere and we get to say 'oh, yeah, that show, it was our idea and it started here'. I love that our audiences will see it first and our town will play a major role in birthing a new comedy to the stage.

This production is Geva's entry into the First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival with performances in the Fielding Nextstage on September 19 through September 28. The production will continue to run in the Fielding Nextstage after the Fringe Festival through October 13.
