Award-winning PUSH Physical Theatre returns to the First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival (Thursday, September 17 - Saturday, September 26) for its fourth time in four years. PUSH will present three, all-ages performances at RAPA at School of the Arts' Allen Main Stage Theatre (45 Prince St.): Saturday, Sept. 19 at noon (no swears); Friday, Sept. 25 at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m. (some swears) Tickets are $18 and available now at rochesterfringe.com or 585-957-9837 (phone fees apply), or starting Sunday, Sept. 13 at the Fringe Box Office (corner of Main & Gibbs Sts.), or at the venue door one hour before show time. The VH Theatrical Development Foundation announces that after an acclaimed Off-Broadway engagement last fall, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! (formerly titled THE BRIGHTNESS OF HEAVEN), a new play by best-selling author Laura Pedersen FROM BUFFALO, will open the 2015-2016 Frey Electric Construction Co.  Season at the 710 Main Theatre (formerly Studio Arena Theatre) in Buffalo, New York, with a limited engagement scheduled to play Thursday, September 17 - Sunday, October 4, 2015.  Directed by Ludovica Villar-Hauser, FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! is set in Buffalo, where Ms. Pedersen was born and raised.

The fourth First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival (Thursday, September 17 - Saturday, September 26) announced its complete lineup this morning at its annual BIG REVEAL at The Little Theatre. The 2015 Fringe will include more than 500 performances and events (up from 2014's 380) featuring all genres of art in 25+ venues in downtown Rochester, with more than 120 of them offered free of charge. Her plays have been developed at the Great Plains Theater Conference, Otherworld Theater, The Science Fiction Theater Company, Panndora Productions, and The Barrow Group. She recently won the 8th Annual Festival of New Plays at Panndora Productions, and is a finalist in the 2015 Samuel French OOB Short Play Festival.

Chautauqua Theater Company (CTC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Vivienne Benesch and Managing Director Sarah Clare Corporandy, announced casting for their Mainstage 2015 Season, which includes blending Chautauqua Theater Company alumni with those making their company debuts. Principal actors are Andrew Borba, Carol Halstead, Tangela Large, Manu Narayan, Michael Potts, Shelia Tousey, and Kathryn Hunter Williams. The season features Our Town (July 3-12), Intimate Apparel (July 24-August 2), and Henry V (August 14-21), all performed at the Bratton Theater at Chautauqua Institution.

Disney Theatrical Productions, Shea's Performing Arts Center, and Albert Nocciolino announced today that tickets for the highly anticipated Buffalo engagement of Disney's NEWSIES will go on sale to the public today, June 20th at 10:00 AM. Tickets start at $35.  The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at Shea's Buffalo Theatre on September 29th for a limited engagement of one week through October 4th as a part of the M&T Bank 2015-16 Broadway Series.
