The songs Censored by the military dictatorship is a musical extravaganza featuring Brazilian music that were forbidden to be broadcast partially or wholly by the Federal Censorship Department at the time of the military Government in Brazil. Songs of various Brazilian composers are performed by musicians of quality, rescuing the memory of the suspension to the artistic freedom of the years of lead, telling a little of the history of Brazilian music of this period, and stressing its importance for culture and artistic training in the country.
