Hancock Church's 2026 Noontime Concert Series launches on Wednesday, Feb. 18th with the return of the Essex Piano Trio. This trio of terrific musicians–Beverly Soll, piano, Ashley Offret, violin, and Dave Cabral, cello–will present “A Conversation Among Friends.” The program will feature music by Maurice Ravel and his onetime student, then lifelong friend, Ralph Vaughan Williams. Included will be Ravel’s famous Pavane for a Dead Princess and Vaughan Williams popular folk song settings. The connections and influences of each composer on the other will be lifted up–all in 30 minutes! The concert is free and open to all. It will take place in Clark Hall at Hancock Church (1912 Mass Ave. in Lexington) There is free parking in the rear of the church, and an elevator can be accessed off of the Mass Ave entrance.
