Harmony on the Green Coffeehouse Concerts opens its 4th season with two artists that so impressed us when they performed for us as opening acts, that we've invited them to come back at the top of the bill! Nicolas Emden is a Chilean born singer songwriter who will be appearing with his duo. His music navigates the waters of pop, rock, and South American folk, creating a distinctive South Americana indie folk rock sound, with evocative Spanish lyrics.
Jerry Martinez has been active in the local (and not so local) music scene for over 4 decades. He is a songwriter, guitarist, and singer steeped in the Americana, Singer/Songwriter, Blues, and Folk traditions. His vocals, described as “soulful and powerful”, drive home the often poignant messages in his songs. The years of playing have honed his acoustic guitar chops into a distinctive flat-picking/finger-picking hybrid, all his.
