Idle Hands Collective presents Idle Fest, a one-day performance event on February 28 at Warehouse XI in Somerville, featuring two shows at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The festival showcases a fast-paced variety of new devised works, solo performances, and interdisciplinary collaborations by Boston-area artists across theatre, music, poetry, drag, and hybrid forms. Idle Fest is designed as an accessible, community-centered performance experience, bringing artists from different disciplines into a shared space to experiment, collaborate, and create new work together. The event operates on a pay-what-you-want model with a $15 suggested starting price, making it open and welcoming to a wide audience. Food will be available on site, along with a bar offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, making it a full afternoon and evening experience for audiences.
