DANCE NOW BOSTON is an annual collaborative performance co-produced by The Dance Complex in Cambridge and New York City-based contemporary dance company The Bang Group, curated by Bang Group co-founding artists David Parker and Jeffrey Kazin. The program features works by Parker and Kazin, including their Velcro-infused Slapstuck, alongside a new duet created by Boston-based choreographer Kelli Edwards and a duet co-created by Illinois-based dancemaker Sara Hook and Parker. Boston dance artists Kristin Wagner, Cassie Wang, and Emily Jerant-Hendrickson also contribute works exploring themes of nourishment, sociocultural conditioning, and personal transformation through change.
