"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Looks fantastic! Thanks for this. Loved that I got to see a sneak preview of Jane singing "A Little Brains, A Little Talent."
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
This video is awesome and they all seem really pleased to be involved in this production. I'm seeing it on 7/6 and can't wait. BTW, how adorable is Cheyenne when he talks about getting to use his "big boy voice." Speaking of which, I saw Xanadu for the 8th time last night and it was better than ever!
The last vampire is the mother of all vampires and that is the vampire of despair. It'll wake you up at 4am to say things like:
Who do you think you are kidding?
You look like a fool!
No matter how hard you try, you'll never be good enough!
Why is it that if some dude walked up to me on the subway platform
and said these things, I'd think he was a mentally ill as-h-le,
but if the vampire inside my head says it,It's the voice of reason!

Yay for Jane! If only she wasn't on 30 ROCK (shes' barely in it now), then this could have transfered to Broadway. Of course, it has competition of PAL JOEY, DANCIN, and WEST SIDE STORY. But they can use the St. James since GYPSY will probably close once Patti, Laura, and Boyd are gone. Oh, can this transfer!
"I saw Pavarotti play Rodolfo on stage and with his girth I thought he was about to eat the whole table at the Cafe Momus." - Dollypop
I really hope I get a chance to check this out sometime in July! Such a great cast! "Big Boy Voice" SO adorable! I love how passionate he is about this show and his use of the words "beautiful" and "gorgeous"...I'm sorry but how can you not be in love with him?

I am so glad they are sticking so close to the original. It's the original Fosse choreography. Thank God. The authenticity of this production will make the 94 revival pale in comparison.
And I didn't know P.J Benjamin is playing Older Joe!
See, of all the Fosse shows, I feel this is one of the few that can survive with new choreography; unlike Pippin or Sweet Charity (or even Pajama Game).
I agree that the show could survive without the Fosse choreography, but really knowing Encores! they would just get Kathleen Marshall to do some crappy lackluster choreography that would have people screaming and begging for Fosse's style. I'm so glad that I'll get to see Krakowski in the iconic Lola pose! How neat is that. Ljay, you're completely right, the way this is going it's easy to see that this revival will be outshine the '94 revival by miles. Cheyenne Jackson seems to be quite glad that "Two Lost Souls" was restored back to Joe and Lola. I can't wait to see Jane and Cheyenne in duet since Jane deprived me of that chance when she dropped out of XANADU. Oh, and Veanne Cox just shows how awesome she is. "I just go on stage, say something funny, and leave." How cool would it have been to have her as Melba in the upcoming PAL JOEY revival? (If the character had survived Greenberg's revision).
