Syesha is the only one that has shown enough personality to be on Broadway (David Cook has a great voice but he is obviously meant to be a rock/pop star, not a Broadway actor). David Archuleta is a kid that can sing well but he doesn't get what he is singing, and the key to being a good Broadway actor is understanding the songs. Maybe when he grows up. Syesha had been just alright up until Broadway night when she seemed quite excited and just sorta lost herself in the song (wonder what she could have done with an actually good song). It was great.

David A. has to master breath control first. Brooke is a terrible singer and her voice would go pretty quickly if she had to perform on Broadway. Not to mention that she has an extremely limited range.
I agree with Syesha, however. Carly seems to sing everything the same way, so I'm not too sure about her.
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!
Ooh, I'd love to see her as Joanne... She'd have a cool interpretation of the role... David A isn't a strong enough performer for 8 shows/week... Carly's got the voice but she's a little too rock & roll... Updated On: 4/27/08 at 10:53 AM
David Cook as Roger much? His One Song Glory would be like DEATH.
Syesha could definitely be one of the Dynamites in Hairspray :)
I could see Brooke doing really well on Broadway too in the right show. Obviously nothing that required big belting because she doesn't have the voice for it, but she's got a very pretty voice, and she seems like she'd be a really good actress.
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
While David Archuleta is "cute," I don't think he has what it takes to be Link. Link is supposed to be a sexy heart-throb, and I don't see David being able to pull that off. Give him a few years and if he breaks out of his shell A LOT then maybe; he's way too young right now.
Anyone who thinks that Brooke could be on Broadway should be shot..the girl has no range..she can't even phonate some of her low notes. You guys harp on people all the time WHO ARE ALREADY ON BROADWAY that they suck, so why put her on?

You mean you weren't impressed with Brooke's version of YOU MUST LOVE ME, which was lower than Madonna's version?
Syesha is the only one I can picture on Broadway. I agree David A needs to significantly improve his breathing techniques. In addition to this he would need major acting lessons to show feeling and understand what he is singing better. I don't think his age is the only think holding him back. There are many young talented actors and singers that show more emotion when they sing- and tons have been on Broadway that ar even younger than David A.

Like I said, it would have to be the right show! Could she do a big belting show like Wicked or RENT or anything like that? Absolutely not. But I personally find her voice to be really really beautiful and soothing, and if she could find a show that was pretty acting-based and where the music was softer and suited to her voice and more limited range, I could see it definitely working :)

Why would anyone bring Brooke to Broadway when there are a dozen more talented, more seasoned, and more well-known performers around who would be 10 times better than she could be in whatever show. The reason I think Syesha could work on Broadway is because she would be right for a number of roles.
