I saw the Moulin Rouge tryout in Boston. It was amazing, and the most visually impressive show I’ve ever seen. I haven’t seen Tootsie yet; but but vote is MR!!

Thank you for the help everyone! We live 5 hours from the city so going in wasn’t an option. With your help I was able to find the box office number. I got my tickets switched for early April. They said typically they do not do this but under the circumstances they understood.
My SO is military and we bought tickets for Mid-May while we were in the city this past weekend to see shows. We just found out we will be going overseas for our new station much sooner. If I call the box office, will they be willing to change our dates for same price seats? Can they even do that long distance?

Fingers crossed. I have tickets for May 11 evening and I’m really hoping to see Jessica. Hopefully if she’s leaving before then I can find a nice home for them.

Just updating with my experience— I rushed the show yesterday 3/3. We arrived in line at 11:26 and we were number 5 and 6 in line. The line got gradually longer closer to twelve. It eventually got to 25-30 or so. They let us wait inside at 11:45. We got A106 and A107. I believe the total cost was 86 even. I got a booster for the seat as the stage was high and it was basically a perfect view.
Ive got a ticket to tomorrows mat I cant use- 2pm Hippodrome, partial view orchestra g 18. Im hoping to get 20 bucks I can send the ticket virtually to you and venmo. Pm me!

I would highly recommend you see the replacement. Its possible Telly was sick, but he gave one of the worst vocal performances I have ever seen in my life, and his acting was almost as bad. I have respect for him as a performer and dancer, loved him in RENT. I was honestly shocked at how bad it was. I will be returning to try the show again when theres a new Aladdin. Any word on how long Arielle Jacobs will be there?

The absolute worst performance I’ve ever seen was Aladdin this year on August 12. Maybe he was sick, but Telly Leung gave an embarrassingly bad performance. The vocals sounded honestly like an elderly Spongebob. His acting was embarassing. I honestly could have handed the script to most audience memebers and they could have done better. To make matters worse, the u/s Jasmine was on and her vocals were horrible. She was beautiful and an amazing dancer and is def talented enough to be in the ensem

I guess ultimately my question is that since the consensus is that it is likely closing in January, why hold off on the announcement and make all the money they can before then because I think so many of the fans will try and return. I can’t imagine Michelle Williams can save it.

So I just bought tickets to Jan 13 because of rumors of it closing and because Hailey said it was her last on the Instagram post linked in this thread. However that post was deleted. Anyone know why?

Going to be rushing this on next Saturday matinee. Where have the seats been lately? Also, I’ve been checking and seeing that the rush hasn’t been nearly as cut throat as it used to be and that tickets seem to be available pretty late into the day. However, it will be the Saturday after Thanksgiving so the new pattern may not hold true. I’m excited to finally see it though.
