E's Talk Soup just did a segment on Xanadu. They weren't very nice to Kerry Butler. They showed her performance at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and talked about her hissing.
Oh god, lighten up. The whole point of the show is to make a mockery out of the ridiculous things on TV. And let's face it, that performance was pretty horrifying.
Of course the host has a "habit" of making fun of people. That's the point of the show! Really, it was a funny bit. Lighten up.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
I know that’s the purpose of the show, but the way “E” edited the clip, makes Kerry look like she's a mental patient on crack. Updated On: 12/1/07 at 12:20 PM
i like that show at times but feel like he is a little too hard on some people. i should watch this segment now though, wondering how bad he made fun of her. As much as i don't care for Joel McHale (the host)at times, i think he would be a good freddy benson if DRS was still on broadway. That is if he could sing. lol i don't know if anyone else feels that way.
Well exactly. He was making fun of that fact that Kerry looked like that.
It's humour!

I'm already snarky enough, now, I just need to get paid for it.

If you dont then the whole world will be depressing.
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.
I love The Soup! Some of you just need to lighten up. He didn't even make THAT much fun of the show. All he did was edit the performance which showed the VERY strange (but funny) expressions on Kerry Butler's face. Last week, he did a bit about the Broadway Strike saying "If I can't see Wicked for a fourth magical time, heads are going to roll!" :) They could've done something A LOT worse. Just look what they did to the Harry Potter trailer. http://youtube.com/watch?v=4dMkLR4q9jU
