FWIW, I believe HIGH BUTTON SHOES was selected to cap-off the 75th Season due, in part, to it being a way to observe Jerome Robbins' centennial.
Plus, n a theater nerd perspective, this was Jule Styne's first Broadway score. The show, from what I gather, is the launching pad for the "musical comedy" - breaking from vaudeville and finding our book musical with belly laughs.
I am intrigued, tbh. From the casting alone. Will be there this weekend.
To piggyback off of this, could someone shed some light as to how many seats there are on the long tables? I know it starts at 212 on the evens and 211 on the odds. Looking to know what the center-most seat is at either table.
Can anyone explain how May 29th's performance is ar 6:30pm and May30th's is at 8pm and tickets are being sold to the general public when all of the adverts cite the official opening night is the 30th? Weird. Does that mean those attending will be getting "Opening Night" playbills? Or, is the 30th just when reviews will be posted?
Hoping to book a seat to a TONY nominated show for Tuesday, the 11th of June. If said doesn't win ",the big one", is it still to be expected that the principals will all be on?

Quick question re: seating for BURN THIS at the Hudson. What row does the Dress Circle overhang, and is the view decent? Also, is the stage high for this production? Any insight wholly appreciated!
As an update from earlier: Requested a refund in place of Row B, Seat 117 for tomorrow evening. Redeemed Row AA, Seat 111 of the Dress Circle for a performance next month. Hoping it's worth the Audience Rewards points!

Had purchased a ticket for Friday night back in March. Apparently, my order was cancelled without any sort of notification. Row AA Seat 102 of the Orchestra. Apparently that row was removed?.
Have not be refunded. Am I to assume that it has yet to process, or has my seat been reassigned? Anyone with any inkling? Many thanks.
I am presently very upset. Thrilled for the show, but furious over this predjcament.
