Hey there.
I'm going to New York for the first time in October. I will be there from October 6th to 16th.
I'm a really big musical fan so I'd like to watch a few. I already looked online what is on while I'm there.
I want to see stuff on Broadway but also on Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway. I actually only found one (!) Musical on off-off-Broadway while I'm there. Is that right? Does someone has a clue if there are any more? I tried theatermania for more infos but couldn't find any.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, those are all Off-Broadway, and one more I forgot is Wuthering Heights at St. Ann's Warehouse, which starts on 10/14.

Not a full blown musical but Melissa Etheridge will be doing a 14 show run off-Broadway called "My Window-A Journey Through Life" at New World Stages.

Taffy got most of them but there are a few more. Just read the short descriptions and/or click through to figure out which ones are the musicals. It's chronological so it won't take that long.

I'm curious to know what, in particular, is prompting you to ask for Off-Off-Broadway specifically.

Despite some of the "rules" that people often cite, the line between Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway can be a little bit blurry and arbitrary. This is mainly because "Off-Off-Broadway" isn't a real designation - it's just a catch-all term for "everything else in NYC." Which is a really wide net, and hard to keep track of.

And even though Off-Broadway IS a real designation, it can be still be kind of arbitrary. There are some shows that call themselves "Off-Broadway" (including some on your list) that are super low-budget, non-union, and/or off the beaten track. So they might as well be off-off-Broadway for all intents and purposes.

And likewise, there are shows put on by major, venerated companies, with big budgets, and even high-profile artists - and yet, if they don't TECHNICALLY operate under an Off-Broadway contract, they won't always be listed as an "official" Off-Broadway show on places like IOBDB.

So, unless you have a really specific reason for seeking out shows that aren't operating under an Off-Broadway contract, my advice is just to find out about as many shows as possible, and just see what interests you.

As for finding out about as many shows as possible, my advice would be to utilize Show-Score, maybe TodayTix, and also keep your eye on the press releases on the All That Chat message board

Theatermania also has listings broken up into Bway, Off and Off-Off. For each show it lists if it is a play or musical. I find sometimes there are older shows still listed but dates are also included in the listing. I have actually found a few interesting shows in their listings that I didn't know existed.

Not sure what post 7 is supposed to represent, but we've seen dozens of Off Broadway musicals in the past 20 years.  Ranging from horribly forgettable to Sutton Foster in Sweet Charity

I agree-Playbill.com's off-Broadway section is a GREAT resource. I've discovered many shows by looking there!

Jersey Boys closed a while ago. I think On Your Feet played in Northport, NY and has also closed. You may want to do a bit of research on the shows you are finding to see if they are still running.

As I understand it I think Off-Off-Broadway usually denotes spaces with fewer than 50 seats, which is often tough to put on a musical in simply because you won't be able to get as much revenue coming in for a show that probably costs a lot more (paying for music, singers, musicians/backing tracks, music director, etc) so it's not surprising that there aren't a ton of off-off-Broadway musicals.
