It’s kind of the blessing of this moment, you know? As terrible as it was, most casts this many years down the line don’t get the opportunity to have that normal rehearsal process, to build that family bond that we all create during that process.

It’s really exciting actually, I think a lot of these shows will be in incredible shape.

For the past couple days I've been keeping my eyes open for a full, uncut video of the Wicked curtain call, because I was curious how long the applause was between when the curtain went down at the end of curtain call, and the curtain going back up for the encore bow. Well I finally found this video and I count a WHOPPING 2:36. 2 minutes and 36 seconds of the audience applauding with no one onstage, just basking in the enthusiasm of each others' company with the lights up. It was unreal. And that's not even counting the applause time for when they WERE onstage. Absolutely wild and unforgettable.

...yeah? What's the problem? It was the longest applause I've ever been a part of, so I was curious to know just how long it was. It's notable, so I took note of it. Really confused by your extreme reaction.

The ushers are not responsible for mask or cell phone enforcement, per their union (though most will try to enforce the cell phone policy)."

Last night I was at Chicago, a couple next to me kept taking their masks off, two or three ushers came up to them throughout the performance to ask them to put it back on. Finally, mid way through act 2 the house manager told them this was their final warning and they would be removed for further none compliance. I also heard another woman shouting at an usher 'I heard you the first time' from a couple rows back, again mid performance, so mask enforcement definitely is happening and by the ushers.

Come From Away just released about 2 dozen seats for their reopening on Tuesday. Just grabbed a $75 ticket in the mezz.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Your post just made me instantly sad. They know they need to be masked but they are not doing it in a theater full of people. Sigh.

Thank you! But what’s even weirder is that I didn’t even film the curtain call. Unclevictor was objecting to the fact that I watched it on YouTube, and looked at the time-stamps on the video to figure out how long the applause was. I’m still utterly at a loss as to what Unclevictor found so abhorrent about this. I’d be very curious to hear their explanation but so far they don’t seem inclined to offer one.
