In a recent interview the good Dr says that it will probably will be at least a year after a vaccine is developed and used by the general public before it is safe to go into a theater again .
He is talking about live theater. Movies are starting to come back little by little now . Thank God for my large collection of theatrical productions and enjoyable movies that all they do is entertain.
That’s not what he said, Roxy. He said it’ll be at least a year until things are back to normal where we can go into a theater without a mask and have it be a “normal” experience.
Of course you say all the time how you’ve blocked me so you won’t see this response.

Heaven forbid that we have plays and film that aspire to engage us intellectually.
"Your thoughts on this development.."
It is very close to what I have been predicting since March so I would not call it a development. We can, of course, have some limited live theatre, outdoors, or socially distanced, etc) but not Broadway. And as the UK infection rates climb again at high levels, I would not put much stock in the announced plans.
Patience remains a virtue. (As is actually reading what has been written, but that's a lost cause I suspect.)

He will now. And yes Jordan is correct, he was saying without a mask. There was some confusion over this (It was a conversation with Jennifer Garner) The article was updated to reflect that he meant without a mask.
PBS's American Masters is featuring him tonight, 3/21/23. It's excellent. Also an interesting section on Broadway and them wanting him at the re-opening of a show.

And you felt the need to bump up two different 3-year old threads to point this out?

And you felt the need to say something snarky for no reason? Touch some grass

For God's sake, calm down. I thought one was on the off topic board and wanted my comment on the Broadway Board. I didn't want to start a new thread and searched Fauci. But you were evidently interested in both threads enough to open them and find out. So....it didn't hurt anybody or anything. Get over it.
