Sad. Although I respect his privacy, he would have been the perfect spokesperson to speak about this disease. I have straight African American friends, over 40, some over 50, that refuse to acknowledge anything pertaining to colon cancer and prostate cancer. They either ignore the subject or say it won't happen to them. One, even seriously stated it "was a white person's disease". His diet is almost entirely fast food and is overweight.
This is so awful, even if it hadn't come out of nowhere. He was so talented and right in the prime of his career. I don't think I'll ever stop wondering what lied ahead for him.
I think he must have deliberately kept it quiet- can't see otherwise how he'd have been insured for the Marvel films otherwise. . He!! Can't see how he did all those action movies period.
that is a real sad. More sad that people didn`t appreciate his acting when he was alive, but that is usual. His acting in 42 was not worse that in black panther. RIP man
He was beloved by a LOT of people in the world and as often happens with tragic young deaths, more people will discover why others found him so special. It's not like he had no idea of the profound impact of his work.
