Thank you! I was on a busy train headed to work with an umbrella in one hand trying to type out a post. I had intended to adjust my post once I got into work.
Wonder if they’ll finish with the series at Diana’s death, as that part of the story was already covered in The Queen.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

It was always planned as a 6 season show—Morgan said the 5th season storyline wraps up their intended trajectory. It was never meant to go to modern times.
I could see them rebooting and creating new seasons once the Queen eventually... moves on. Netflix does have the easy luxury of just adding to their shows whenever.
Morgan said the fifth season will culminate with Britain entering the new millennium. So I guess season five will cover 1992 to 2000 or so. I think his reasoning for ending the series makes sense. He thinks not enough time has passed to write about the past twenty years.
I predict the show will end with the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother which took place in 2002. Their deaths feels like a natural end since we’ve seen these characters grow from season one. The Queen will grieve for her mother and her sister but will also look to the future of her family.
For season five I’d love to see Rosamund Pike as Diana.
