It’s officially been announced that ”The Crown” will end with Season 5, and will be starring Imelda Staunton as the next iteration of the queen. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/netflix-crown-end-season-5-imelda-staunton-set-as-queen-1275282

I was on a busy train headed to work with an umbrella in one hand trying to type out a post. I had intended to adjust my post once I got into work.
Something's fishy here. Why stop? The story goes on and there is so much content to dramatize.

I wonder if the fifth season might be more than 10 episodes? That would make up for not having a 6th season.
I predict the show will end with the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother which took place in 2002. Their deaths feels like a natural end since we’ve seen these characters grow from season one. The Queen will grieve for her mother and her sister but will also look to the future of her family. For season five I’d love to see Rosamund Pike as Diana.
