It was totally off my radar, other than noticing the poster when we went to see Knives Out, until a student mentioned it.
It was so very suprising, fresh and unque. Both of young boys were absolutely terrific, and I often dislike child actors.
Taika Waititi's work blew me away, both as an actor and a director.

I found much to admire about it, and the young actors who played Jojo and Elsa were terrific, but somehow the clash between the satire and serious themes didn't work for me. Too often, it felt like Taika Waititi's reach exceeded his ability to carry it off.
