Wow, what a terrific, odd, funny and moving film.

Go see it....now.

Oh yes, I adored it. Such a delight. Hilarious and ridiculous with some unexpected tear-jerking moments - my advice would also be to go see it....now.

It is a much more enjoyable and insightful film than the unfortunate trailer suggests. I'm so glad I saw it!

Definitely among our top 3 of the year. Personal director's vision carried out with precision and passion. Terrific little engine that could.

It was totally off my radar, other than noticing the poster when we went to see Knives Out, until a student mentioned it.

It was so very suprising, fresh and unque. Both of young boys were absolutely terrific, and I often dislike child actors.

Taika Waititi's work blew me away, both as an actor and a director.

It took me about 15 minutes or so to get into the feel of the film but once I did, I got hooked and ended up loving it.

^I could see how that might happen - the odd tone was one thing I WAS prepared for.

I cried at least twice!

Waititi has a distinctive voice and vision, which worked perfectly on this profound, heart-felt satire.  I adored it.

I found much to admire about it, and the young actors who played Jojo and Elsa were terrific, but somehow the clash between the satire and serious themes didn't work for me. Too often, it felt like Taika Waititi's reach exceeded his ability to carry it off.
