I will be in NYC for BroadwayCon from January 24th-26th. Currently, Little Shop of Horrors is scheduled to run through January 20th. What's the likelihood for another extension? I'd love to see it while I'm in town.

That was also my (a lot of people on here's) assumption before it extended the first time so it's not completely absurd that he could follow another extension too. I wouldn't bet money on it obviously, he is going to leave sooner than later, but there is also nothing I can think of that would be a conflict enough with him to leave (unless there is a project I'm unaware he's apart of).
He’s in that Netflix series Mindhunter that has been getting a lot of buzz lately. It made sense to me that he would extend into January since a lot of tv/movies will take time off around the holidays. And he was going to come back for a short stint after his planned two-week absence where Glick was taking over, so may as well stay a little longer! I went ahead and bought tickets when the extension was announced because I thought maybe he had to get back to filming the next season of Mindhunter in January and didn’t want to miss seeing him.
I just don’t see an actor of his stature committing to an off-Bway salary for more than 15 weeks. And I’m sure he has other projects percolating even if they haven’t been announced yet. But...who knows.
This also isn’t a Be More Chill situation where they had a hard closing date at the Signature — the Westside is not as in-demand, and this is the highest-profile show that’s played there in *years.*

This article might be outdated but here mentions Fincher might be a bit busy with his next movie, "Mank," to go right back to filming Mindhunters. It also hasn't been picked up for a 3rd season yet, which it will at some point, but for right now nothing is happening with Mindhunters season 3 officially. Unless Groff has other projects (which is very probable, just unannounced), I think he is free for the next few months.

Are you forgetting about that smash hit Curvy Widow? (Yes, this question would have been typed in the biggest sarcasm font ever if such a thing existed)

Maybe even with Glick as the full replacement? Again like Groff, he could have things unannounced, but he seems to be free after Mockingbird, so I'm all for if he stays with the company after Groff.
