Wow. If this really turns out to be true, between Garner, Foster, and Jackman, I will have no problem getting my husband to go with me and no arguments about how much the seats are going to cost.
And if anyone is interested in a Wednesday matinee show on either Dec. 4, 11, or 18, there are still several $119 tickets available in the back few rows as of right now.

They did not. I was wondering the same thing because I won’t have a lot of time to buy tickets that day. I’m thinking we’re in for a lot of announcements as Saturday approaches.

I just did a range search on the Telecharge website for the entire month of December and am still seeing some $119 tickets for sale on several different dates. Usually the back few rows. I was able to be flexible with the dates when I was searching for tickets, so that m
As CATSNY mentioned, you can buy them from the site. Maybe check each individual show or the “Collector’s Corner” section. They usually offer a limited edition supply of opening night Playbills and Pride versions. I checked and saw most had at least one version available, though a few were missing some. So possibly some have sold out or not available yet if it’s a newer show. If you don’t find something, I’ve emailed the Playbill store before about a P
Yes, I used mobile tickets when I went to Hadestown a couple of week ago. The lady scanning tickets even swiped my phone to pull up the second ticket without me having to do it for her.
I am so awkward at stage doors! I just did it for Hadestown last week and only about 3 other times in the past few years. All I’ve managed to convey is a heartfelt “thank you so much”, but then I don’t know if they thought I was thanking them for the autograph or their performance, when I really meant both. I definitely need more practice.

Ah, gotcha. Good to know. I had never been to that theatre, so was familiarizing myself with the seating chart and cringed a bit thinking that tickets would be even harder to get to this show with such a small number of seats. If tickets do go on sale in a little over a month like they originally announced, then hopefully we&
I was looking online to refresh myself on what date single ticket sales are supposed to start and noticed that the NYtix.com site is saying that The Music Man is the upcoming show at the Lyceum Theatre. I haven’t seen that listed anywhere else. Anyone else heard that?
I’ve been wondering about this, so I’m interested in people’s replies. I can’t get enough of live musical theatre, but never seem to enjoy musical movies, so I’ve never watched it either. It’s very confusing to my friends and family. I’m trying to decide whether to go ahead and add it onto my trip in a couple of weeks or just try for the lottery.
Have you been to any of the Third Rail Projects productions? Not sure If immersive performances are at all interesting to you, but Then She Fell out in Brooklyn was a wonderful evening. They are also starting a new one called Midsummer: a banquet in Union Square that we’re considering going to on our August trip. And we’ll probably also catch a show at the Comedy Cellar. But I’m mostly going to see Hadestown.
I wish I had known some of these tricks. I had trouble buying two tickets to Hadestown on the date I wanted because the best seats had 3 seats available together. So it wasn’t allowing me to buy just two of the three, which was ridiculous! And they weren’t resale tickets. I ended up buying seats a little farther back. It was very infuriating.
My one choice would be Come From Away. I’ve been recommending it to people who’ve never seen a musical before, and everyone who has taken my advice loved it. It’s a pretty safe bet if you want someone to enjoy their first musical experience because it’s heartwarming and most people can connect with the story.
BwayinVan said: "Seeing this Thursday and super excited. I am going into it completely blind as I’m not usually a fan of the old school musical but seems like this will be a good intro to it."
I’d be curious to hear what you think about it afterward. I’m in the exact same boat as you and have been thinking of adding it on to my August trip, but am not 100% sold on it, yet.
Broadwaystar26 said: "Wow... they already raised their prices... congrats to all those who have already bought their tickets. This just became the second most expensive show on broadway after Hamilton."
Glad I took everyone’s advice and bought tickets for this yesterday for my August trip. I just looked at today’s prices for the seats next to mine and they are $100 more than what I paid less than 24 hours ago.

There is a divider between each show. The binder is set up in the order of that week's performances. I'll print out interesting articles, cast pictures, and reviews of opened shows."
I love the nerdiness of this and now feel like I’m not doing enough by just saving my Playbills and tickets in

Eleven Madison Park was wonderful, with gifts to take home and a tour of the kitchen that also featured an additional tasting experience. Haven’t been since it reopened, though.
