I was hoping that someone who has access already to the Moby Dick at A.R.T. ticketing system could check on ticket availability for me. I'd really appreciate it!
We are booking flights from London to see it so we only have limited performances that would work. I see that some already say sold out (Dec 7, 11) but then for other perfs (like Dec 21, which we want) which don't say sold out or limited availability, it says "We’re Sorry! Tickets are not currently available for this event". Is that just because I don't have access, or are they sold out too? Would appreciate any help. (We're planning on becoming Friends of ART for $50 for earlier access but that's still 2 weeks away and I am nervous that it'll sell out even more.)
Is anyone else planning on going/getting tickets soon? I'm excited!
My friend and I are planning something similar, but we’re coming from Australia! We are also going to buy a $50 membership to get early access to tickets. I can’t answer your questions from experience, but I believe that you get the ‘tickets are not currently available ‘ message because tickets are only on sale to subscribers at the moment. They will hopefully have a separate allocation of tickets available for single tickets when they go on sale.
Good luck! At least we’re not competing for the same performances.
When I got my season tix, they told me they couldnt assign my seats for MD since the layout wasnt finalized. Then i was asked if id be interested in either on stage or immersive seats should either ofvthem come to fruition.
That might be why tix arent available.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
Not liking this message on the website “The seating for Moby-Dick has not been finalized. Your seats will be assigned at a later date in the order in which your purchase was received.”
What's not to like? They don't want to promise seat assignments that they might not be able to deliver on. Makes sense to me. Would I LIKE to know? Sure, but I'm sure they'll have it worked out before too much longer.

Im sure it won't sell out with that message either. Not enough people don't care where they sit so Im sure you can wait a little bit for tickets. I am wondering how immersive this will actually get though.

Yeah. What she said.
I'm still disappointed that Ocean Filibuster was cancelled.
