Ok. I realize that SRO is a privilege, the theatre/production doesn’t have to offer it
But that was a seriously stressful experience. They wouldn’t sell SRO till 8PM (that is when someone agreed to buy the last ticket, which by that point had undergone three price reductions). When i go to the theatre, I like to have the time to soak it in and adjust to my surroundings.
SRO does not offer a good view of the set(I couldn’t see the Elephant or Windmi

Yes. Your ticket grants you the option for one selfie with every celebrity in attendance. Keep your ticket because you can post date the photos if you don’t want to cram all the excitement into one night
Also, you are TOTALLY allowed to walk the red carpet, all photos will be published on Page Six and TMZ

Unfortunately, with the types and numbers of people who will be attracted to something like this, the policy is the only way to distribute responsibly. Rush used to be a fun experience I truly enjoyed, but now it has become such a hassle that I avoid it like the plague
The other thing I like about the lotto policy is that you get notified that you have won/lost days in advance, making it easy to coordinate travel plans if need be
