Its not insane for people to assume that when someone posts *Spoiler* about a weekly show that they are saying a spoiler about that weeks show not a future show!
Please do not post future spoilers on this thread.
Not a particularly great episode, but Im thrilled with the outcome. And it’s also high time to recognize Naomi Smalls for the truly remarkable queen she is.
Super fun episode that basically gave them a chance to prove why the final 6 queens really deserved to be the final 6. Every one of them outperformed their competition in the lipsyncs, including IMHO that dynamo Monique Heart over the much loved but overshadowed Latrice Royale, all decked out in her silliest skating costume. The fact that one offed queen was --

brought back into the competition
will no doubt be undercut in the next one or two episodes when she sashays right back away again. It's happened every single time they've tried this stunt since time immemorial.
Also gotta give a shoutout to Manilla's absolute stunner of a runway ensemble crafted out of a petticoat and a tablecloth. The fact that she didn't need to lipsync at all left her free to gag the competition just for the fun of it. Showstopper!
My money is now on Naomi, Monique and Trinity top 3.
I had tears of joy down my face when Latrice returned. Everyone really didn''t have a place with the rest of them. Really rooting for Latrice, Manila and Monet to be the top three at the end!...
In my opinion, Monique was the obvious winner in that lipsync. I thought Naomi was really the best overall. Kind of questionable that Trinity"s RuPaul song was a booty shaker. I would pay to go see Jasmine at the club. Not because of her drag, but comes across really personable.

I absolutely loathed Jasmine on season 7 but then I met her once after a show she did in Chicago and she was the kindest queen I’ve ever met. I was shocked and became an instant fan.
Jasmine is a one of those queens who is clearly dynamite live, but fails to show any of that uniqueness on the show. Which is a shame because shes funny as hell.
Not thrilled about Latrice coming back. This has been one of the few seasons where every elimination has been rightfully earned, regardless of the general public opinion about the eliminated queen. Latrice simply wasnt - and isnt - up to the caliber of the other remaining queens. She is a legend, but she has never performed particularly well on Drag Race. And that comment about AS1 not counting? Girl, please. It just doesnt count because you did poorly. America, I cannot.
Im glad the editors have stopped giving screen time to Valentinas workroom entrances. Cant stand the bish. Im banking on top 3 being Monique, Monet, and Trinity at this time. Next week will be a huge turning point for these queens, I think.
see I like drama so I'm glad Latrice is back. Rooting for Manilla, Monique, and Naomi for Top 3, with Manilla taking the crown. I'm choosing to ignore the spoiler above as a bad faith rumor.

I have a performer friend who is obviously more specific/critical of the show than I am. I'm more of the casual viewer who also enjoys the drama. She told me she would be livid if Monique and Naomi were in the finals. She said Naomi doesn't ever pad and doesn't understand why she isn't called out for it by the judges, especially Michelle. She stated Monique doesn't know how to beat her face and blend and comes across like she has kabuki makeup on. My friend has won pageants, so I guess she knows what she is talking about. Agree or disagree?
I disagree. Paegent drag is very specific. This show has slowly evolved to allow much more than paegant, so paddging and blending isn't all what makes for a Drag Race winner. I mean Raja and Aquaria hardly pad, and Bianca and Trixie would be kicked out of a paegant in a minute. Having said that, RPDR is still really incredibly tame compared to drag that's out there. Monique and Naomi are phenomenal performers. I'd be happy to see either of them take the crown, assuming there's no romperroom****ery like AS3

Well that was certainly an entertaining episode to say the least. Honestly I'm one of the few people who finds Valentina's delusion actually quite hilarious at this point in comparison to Milk's delusion in AS3 which was more pretentious and annoying. I'm still crossing my fingers hard for Manila to be in the top 2.
There's more than one type of drag look. Naomi doesn't pad because... she doesn't want to, obviously, considering her resources and ability. It's just not what she's going for. And she's sickening.
I thought it was a great episode. I think it's hard to make a case for Latrice staying longer, though. She does what does very well, but at this point... we've seen it over and over.
"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."
I love Latrice but those kitten heel patent boots and the 1990's teen summer dance camp costumes. Why does she get away with that?
However, her Honey look was fierce.
I generally don't like the lip-synchs because here in Europe majority would have a concept and it would go way beyond dancing or emoting the original narrative of the song.
Also beyond bored now with RuCo songs all the time.
Well the editors certainly made it crystal clear this episode who we were supposed to root for to get the chop from scene one on. It was poor old delusional

Valentina's
time to go and thank God Latrice did the right thing and kicked her off. I'm certain when we get to see Trinity's lipstick choice next episode it'll bear the same name.
But now that the we're down to these 6, it'll be really tough knocking off the next one and the next after that. My money's on Monet next, followed by Latrice-- she had a bonafide comeback Friday night that gave her story a full arc. Now send her packing and crown Manilla or Naomi already.

Manila will never get the crown because

she goes home next episode. she's eliminated by Naomi.
Then after that

its ends up with I think it was Monet and Trinity in the top 2.
