As this show just announced a rush policy earlier this week, figured I could start a report outside the the Previews thread.

I’m here on Saturday, Sept 22 arrived at 7:50am and was 4th on line on a two show day.

It’s now 9am, and there’s 14 people waiting.

Will update based on aprox numbers and locations later.

I got there are few minutes after 9am and was #15 in line. Rear mezz (HH 107/109) for the matinee. I might be wrong, but it seemed like all of the rush seats are in the rear mezz.

I went Friday at about 11:15 and was able to get 2 tickets. Seats were in the rear mezzanine Row FF on the end.

Great view for the money and solid show

Ugh, I know we should just be thankful and happy cheap tickets are available but you can’t pay me to sit in the rear mezz (unless it’s an aisle seat, I guess). #painful

Went yesterday (9/25). Got to the theater around 9am and was 5th on line. It was raining today so I'm sure it effected turnout. Got Rear Mezz row EE 112 and 114. Great view for the price!!!

Does anyone know how many tickets they’re giving out? And what time people are arriving to get the last of those? I’m arriving in the city at 11 AM, and wanted to know if this is the show even worth getting in line for, depending on how many tickets they release each day.

At 11am, doubt there’ll be a line (unless the box office opens at noon). Just go to the theatre and check.

I realize now, that was unclear. I'm trying to figure out whether enough people line up before the box office opens that all rush tickets will be sold by 11. If so, I will buy tickets in advance for a higher price, or buy tickets for something else. If not, I will try rush when I get there. But that's why I was asking.

The answer today was apparently that the last people to get rush tickets arrived at about 9:20 am, according to a friend who was there.

And the show is really well done.

Got two rush seats at $40. each and sat in row DD front mezz. Purchased tickets at 1:45 for Wednesday evening. Must add guy in front of us got a rush at 6:55 tonight. There were many empty seats in the area, which surprised me.

I planned to try yesterday - I got to the theater about 9:30 and the line was already fairly long, bleeding into the parking garage next door.  I wasn't terribly optimistic so at 10 I tried the Girl from the North Country rush which I managed to snag for the evening performance.  I couldn't do a matinee since I was in town for Comic Con, so I just got out of the line at that point.  If everyone had only been getting 1 ticket I may have been OK, but assuming most were probably looking for a pair I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

Does anyone have any updates/advice? I am just looking to get one ticket for myself for either this Saturday or Sunday's matinee.
What's the best day to try for rush? On Saturday I wouldn't be able to show up until at least 9.  I don't believe I've ever done Sunday rush before and wondered if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks!!

I tend to prefer rushing on a Saturday because there are two performances (matinee and evening) to choose from, so theoretically more people should be able to get tickets on Saturday than Sunday (of course it depends on what's available for each performance).

I rushed this past Saturday. Despite my best efforts, I didn't arrive at the box office until 9:30 a.m. I was 36th in line. They sold out of rush tickets for both shows a good 15-20 people before me. I overheard a guy saying he had tried rushing Friday and that they had around 12 rush seats Friday, and he thought they had may 10 rush seats per show Saturday. When I got to the box office, they had one $79 rear mezz seat, and two $99 mid/rear mezz seats, in addition to a few higher priced orchestra seats. I purchased a rear mezz seat for $79. The view was fine and I didn't feel it hindered the show being "far away." Was a timely story and I enjoyed the show.

Last Wednesday 10/17, I stopped by the box office around 1:15pm. They were out of rush for the matinee but I got a ticket for the evening, rear mezz row HH.

At ~11:50 a.m. today (Saturday), I got tickets for the evening show. By then, they were sold out of rush for matinee.

I rushed this past Sunday (11/4), got there at 11:50 and was about #15 in line. Rush tickets were still available for both shows even though the matinee was a lot more popular. I got one ticket for the evening show - orchestra last row center P105. Enjoyable show, and the view was great!
